WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
A.Due to limited slots and the short two-week window period for newborn shots, we highly recommend that you reach out prior to your baby's arrival to secure your slot. We'll schedule a tentative slot within a 3 week range of your due date and confirm once baby is born.
WHEN DO NEWBORN SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
A.Newborns are best photographed when they are 5-14 days old. At this age, babies are most sleepy and naturally pose themselves in the curly, cuddly position you love.
HOW LONG ARE NEWBORN SESSIONS?
A.Newborn sessions are baby led and range from 1.5 hours-3 hours long. This time frame accommodates feedings, diaper changing, soothing, and all the important things baby's love doing!
WHAT WILL MY BABY WEAR TO THE SESSION?
A.Firefly by Chaya provides a full baby wardrobe, including handknitted delicate rompers, baby outfits, booties, bonnets, swaddles, blankets, headbands and accessories.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY SESSION?
A.Firefly by Chaya highly recommends neutral, earthy tones and colors. Try to avoid "black only" outfits and strong textures and patterns.

HOW DO I VIEW MY GALLERY?
A.AN IN PERSON VIEWING SESSION IS SCHEDULED AT THE PHOTOSHOOT, WHERE YOU WILL GET ANOTHER SESSION AT THE STUDIO TO CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE PICTURES.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY BABY FOR A SESSION?
A.Bathe and feed the baby one hour prior to coming if possible.
